East Baton Rouge Parish Library
All EBR Parish Library locations closed Friday, August 12 at 11 am and have remained closed through Monday night. The website is up and the Digital Library is “open” for business. We will assess Tuesday morning and hope to open the Main Library shortly thereafter; hours may be limited due to availability of staff and desire to minimize night time traffic. The Main Library seems to be fine. We have received encouraging reports for 10 of the13 branches but have not yet been able to get close to three: Greenwell Springs, Fairwood, and Pride-Chaneyville Branches.
EBRPL resuming regular hours at most locations All EBRPL Branches now observing normal hours except for Greenwell Springs Road Regional, which is still closed due to flood damage.
