Avoyelles Parish Library
One branch took in some water, but it was cleared up fairly quickly and we think we’ll be okay. We had to close branches Saturday but are open this week. Some flooding occurred in low lying areas of Avoyelles but nothing like what the more southern parishes have had. Staff of APL just sent a number of supplies to the local 4-H office which is bringing them to a shelter this afternoon. Our thoughts and prayers with everyone.
