All EBRPL Branches now observing normal hours except for Greenwell Springs Road Regional, which is still closed due to flood damage.
Normal hours have resumed at the Main Library at Goodwood and 12 branches of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library system. The Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch Library remains closed due to flood damage.
Over 16,000 items have been discarded thus far as well as carpet, soft furnishings, etc. Some of the metal or solid wood furniture is salvageable; the large service desks are gone. Staff is planning a temporary furniture layout with a reduced collection so that the building may open while undergoing renovation.
