The Concordia Parish Library has had no major damage from Hurricane Laura and is open for normal business hours.
Claiborne Parish Library
The Claiborne Parish Library received no damage from Hurricane Laura and is open with normal business hours.
Evangeline Parish Library
Due to the upcoming storm, all branches of the Evangeline Parish Library will be closed Wednesday, August 26. They will reopen Thursday, August 27 if weather permits. Evangeline received no damage and it currently open with regular hours.
Franklin Parish Library
Due to effects from Hurricane Laura, the Franklin Parish Library is closed until Tuesday, September 8. They will be opening with new hours, 8:00 am- 4:30, Monday through Friday.
Union Parish Library
The Union Parish Library lost power until Tuesday, September 1. They are now open to the public.
Lasalle Parish Library
The Lasalle Parish Library lost power during the storm but was restored in order to open Wednesday, September 2.
Jackson Parish Library
Due to the effects of Hurricane Laura, the Jackson Parish Library may have some closures throughout the week of August 31- September 5. Call (318) 259-5697 for details.
