In Evangeline Parish, the main library (Ville Platte) and the Basile and Pine Prairie branches reopened today. Using the computers for FEMA applications is currently a very popular item. We are trying to get Mamou’s Internet back up so that we can reopen that branch. We are keeping our two part-time branches (Turkey Creek and Chataignier) closed until after Ike gets out of the way.
